Why do modern horror film fans get so offended when you point out that there's something inherently pornographic about the genre? In fact the desexualization of horror is a big part of why it sucks now, horror movies should be sleazy.

A weird genre of American Puritanism that plauges Zoomers and Milenials. They can jerk off to suff that would make Caligula raise an eyebrow but then complain abaut sexy stuff in movies how ot's exploitative of...fictional characters. Or where Bad guy dues bad stuff.
Bloody violence is a ok. Sexual violenx eis not. Why? Because.
>>
BECAUSE THE FAR LEFT WOKE FUCKS WHO POINT THAT OUT ARE THE EXACT PEOPLE WHO WANT IT TO BE DESEXUALIZED.

> There is latent eroticism in the entire tradition of the “novel of terror,” which began in late eighteenth-century Gothicism and became the modern horror film. Freud says “the sexually exciting influence of some painful affects, such as fear, shuddering, and horror, … explains why so many seek opportunities to experience such sensations” in books or the theater.29 The thrill of terror is passive, masochistic, and implicitly feminine. It is imaginative submission to overwhelming superior force. The vast audience of the Gothic novel was and is female. Men who cultivate the novel or film of terror seek sex-crossing sensations. Horror films are most popular among adolescents, whose screams are Dionysian signals of sexual awakening. Reviewers often wonder why the packed audiences of bloody slasher films are sedate couples on weekend dates. Shared fear is a physically stimulating sexual transaction. Freud’s use of the word “shuddering” shows the common area between fear and orgasmic pleasure. In Yeats’s “Leda and the Swan,” the “shudder in the loins” is both the rapist’s climax and the victim’s fright - Paglia

Funny enough after this image became widespread is clearly embarrassed James so much to the point where he never mentions this shit anymore and actually gets excited in videos again when we get some nudity.
Also views greatly improved at the exact same time, not a coincidence.

It's because of weinstein. It's why terrifer sequels don't have nudity. Only the first movie has nudity

I applaud this guy for being so faggy and annoying that I remember his full name 5 full years after having last seen one of his videos.

There was a shower sex scene showing tits and ass in the most recent one.

That’s just the Sin City font. Did they pay Frank Miller for that?

A lot of them are insecure goobers who desperately want horror to be taken seriously and seen as "respectable". Some younger anons might not remember this but horror was once the most hated genre among film critics, they used to trash it unless you were Silence of the Lambs or The Exorcist.
