Unironically yes. That "What do you fear most?" "The possibility that love might not be enough" stuff in Twin Peaks was Davis speaking from the heart and he and Anderson were closer than the rest of the cast that were hard "genre actors" and as such all had their heads up their own asses thinking they were king shit. Davis knew we are all transitory and connected.
