Newer is not always better

My LG 4k UHD Led tv was acting funny, so I switched it with an older Sony bravia 1080p LCD and it was actually an improvement.

As you can see in this image, I am watching a dark scene in the middle of the day and there is barely any glare. I can see the picture perfectly fine. If I were watching this on my LG, I would be like staring into a mirror with how reflective it is. Even at night, that thing was still reflective with the ambient lighting of the room. Maybe if I were comparing them in a pitch dark room, the LG would have a better picture, but for everyday use, I go with the Sony LCD
