I don’t understand why this movie got so much praise. Nothing happens and every character is extremely unlikeable. Particularly the daughter who is an evil sociopath that we’re supposed to empathize with.

She seemed to have a personality disorder though. Lots of peoples parents get divorced and they don’t turn into sadists who threaten to accuse people of rape.
I also don’t believe she was trying to help the Christian kid or that she was even smart. Possibly I am biased against her because my sister is like that.
