Does A Nightmare on Elm Street series mog Friday the 13th series? Which is better overall? Which has the highest high? The lowest low? What about the Halloween series?
>>215553559I love both, but prefer F13 for the setting, an isolated lakeside summer camp is more interesting to me than Suburbia USA.
Overall, Nightmare is the best.Friday is the most consistent.Halloween sucks ass outside of 1, 2, and 4.
>>215553807best Halloween is 3
>>215553828If you like boring movies, then sure.
>>2155535593 and 4 are good. 4 is the best. The rest are low-budget trash. I want to have sex with Patricia Arquette. Young version, old version, doesn't matter.
I've only ever seen the first Nightmare, but I got the boxset since that was more value than just buying the movie by itself. Are any of the others at all worth watching this season?
>>215554015why are you zoomers so retarded
>>215554037Because you shoved iPads in our hands at dinner, filled our world with microplastics, and allowed the inmates to start running the asylum.
>>215554074I'm 30, not 50.
>>2155540153 is probably the best
>>215553846faggot
>>215553952imagine thinking any of the sequels are even remotely as good as the original, dream warrior fans are delusional
>>215555021the original is not a good movie
>>215555091you're right, it's a great movie
>>215555143You have awful taste, and should kill yourself.
>>215553559no, FT13 as a series is significantly more enjoyable and consistently entertaining for longer stretches of films. I really like the original NES, but sequels are not nearly as good. They have their moments and the series is relatively unique though. NES sequels are like proto-Saw movies where the spectacle of the torture becomes the focus. FT13 does a great job of being a better pure slasher, and, as mentioned before, the sequels are significantly better relative to the original and even golden age compared to NES and its sequels.
That nurse’s nude scene is easily the franchise-best nude scene.
>>215553559Pretty girl, who is this?
>>215553559The general /tv/ consensus.
>>215553559Nightmare on Elm Street has higher highs and lower lows. Friday the 13th is very consistent. It does not have the peaks, but generally you can grab an entry and get a solid basic slasher.
>>215554015>I got the boxset>I've only everYou have the boxset, so watch them.
>>215557647
>>215553828Reddit's that way
>>215557705Contarianism is not a personality
>>215553807This. 100%.
>>215553559Of course it does. Its the top slasher franchise.
>>215557681>>215557647Excellent tits, I've seen em.
>>215557590New nightmare goes in the kino
>>215557590What in the holy fuck is the Nightmare remake doing in B+?
>>215554086Zoomers are 30
>>215557590>Scream is the only kino>Dream Master is an F>Final Chapter, OG 13th and Dream Child are a C->OG TCM, OG Nightmare and Dream Warriors are not in kino >Nightmare reboot is a B+ Whoever made this list needs to be burned at the stake while engulfed in flames. Holy shit…
F13 is pants outside of the first one. Freddy at least has some arc plus he’s a le funny guy which is hilarious.
>>215558296Seriously, that list is read-it tier ass
>>215557590That’s legitimately one of the worst rankings I’ve ever seen. No way that’s serious.
>>215555091>>215555143The original is a classic, and is considered so by most horror fans for good reason.
>>215557590Where is Phantasm??
