I never understood the popularity and appeal of One Punch Man. The worldbuilding makes its world feel so empty and stupid. It has one joke repeated over and over again. The main character has a bugman soul and is generally an ass.Mind you, the Season 1 I saw was very well done, despite the questionable material it had to work with. But how could this series do anything but fail eventually?

The reason OPM fell off it's not just because of the shitty anime quality, it became the same thing it was parodying, along with the murata version of the manga taking a nosedive in pacing, it's the main reason you barely hear about the series anymore, compared to jjk, chainsaw man, demon slayer or solo leveling. All that fucking redrawing of the monster association arc pissed off a lot of people and they never came back.
