It's still good after Jimmy, he's pretty overrated. The final season was beyond shit though, they should've just ended it off with season 4.

The show wastes too much time on uninteresting bullshit and then had to rush through the ending. It's still good but should have been better.

Jimmy was a shit character who moped around all day wanting to be given a chance while saying hardly anything. The idea that anyone would want to put a PTSD-addled schizoid in charge of their gigantic political corruption operation is ridiculous. And then his actor was apparently impossible to work with so they sped up his story and got rid of him.

The real problem with Boardwalk is that the first season did a great job of covering the entire premise of the series and then it seemed like they couldn't figure out what else they wanted to do with it.
