It's the same appeal "Burn After Reading" has, another very excellent kino. They also both feature fantastic performances from the leads who really sell the project.

The dude was a genre of slacker boomers glorified. A life that a middle aged boomer whos sick of his wife would love. Just moderate functioning alcoholism, smoking joints, living in a apartment in california and life just consisted of bowling with your buds. Also overall good actors and soundtack.
