The book is really good and I highly recommend it if you like the movie. The books are different enough as well that you won't be spoiled.There are record celebrations, more military backstory etc in the book. It's pure kino, I bet you guys would actually root for Major, because he's actually liked by the kids walking in the book, he's not a straight up antagonist like in the movie.It's my favorite stephen king book.
