dishonored with the art style of arcane. cream. live action would be based too, if done with a good eye. not netflix slop.first episode, world building, no hint of magical elements, corvo coming back from his travels and leads to him meeting the empress like the start of the game. episode ends with daud and friends blinking and assassinating her, perfect hook for the rest of the season.could also very easily mix in timely parallels of real life, corruption in government and the aristocratic elite, wealth disparities, using religion to manipulate the masses, and so on. the magical elements aren't overbearing either so it wouldn't become fantasy slop.

Prey has a simple plot with multiple twists and the setting is interesting without being outlandish since it's basically just alt-history. Having Asians as leads also has been working this past decade. I'd watch it, but the deciding factor would be whether or not they re-design the typhon: the look they have in-game is serviceable but very bland, they could keep the spoopy distorted recording voices they have though, I liked that.
