Dr. Henry Wu went from a fringe geneticist working in a wild animal park, to an evil trafficker in genetically enhanced dinos, to a repentant scientist who wanted to correct a mistake he was railroaded into. Of all the characters in this series, he undergoes the most drastic character changes between moves.

Of all the ways they've dredged up dead franchises in this creatively bankrupt void called cinema I think this is the most emblematic of the problem: take the most minute character of a classic, everything you can for the sake of "remember that?" I wouldn't be surprised if the dino DNA cartoon gets brought back or has already
>>215567419Mr. DNA is the real mastermind behind it all. He's the Darth Jar Jar of the series.

>>215567332>>215567315he's a scientists who had like 30 seconds of screen time in the first film. his entire character was a subtle joke where he's recording data with a pencil and has been obviously erasing data which would be considered unethical in science, you should record data in pen and then strike through anything that you wrote down as a mistake so you can prove you kept accurate records. the whole joke is the scientist and hammond were acting extremely unethically, like when hammond keeps saying he spared no expense but then newman was seething about being underpaid.because every jurassic park film after the third (really after lost world) was a shitty cash grab and the guy is asian they keep bringing him back so they can appear progressive and be like >remember this guybut they don't actually give a shit about the character so they just change him every film
it's jurassic park not jurassic park chan-woke
