So the scene plays and sincere and ironic at the same time, establishing the satire and heart that Wayne’s World bears on equal measure.

That is how I saw it too on a rewatch but it made it interesting to me, this guy is obviously some kind of 25 year old virgin and has a virgin friend too. Maybe Wayne had sex before at say 15-16 but it was weird and uncomfortable, he gives that vibe. Rock and Roll is his passion and metal partially because its his ticket into pussytown. Its a good character study about a fun guy who shows you can be an incel but still enjoy life and not let it make you bitter.

It’s appreciable but I like the first one’s stronger force of gravity in returning to the real more often. Wayne is always in cloud cuckoo land but sometimes just his soul while his body is grounded to Earth. It makes the humor launch better like the Alice cooper we are not worthy thing or the absurd ending. Or perhaps the awkward scenes with Rob Lowe especially the Garth fourth wall breaking.

>>215573027Wayne's World 2 is good. It's the textbook case of "the first one, but bigger" and there's nothing wrong with that. It's got a lot of things going for it. Christopher Walken is always welcome. Chris Farley has a larger role. I like the British guy who hat to beat them to death with their own shoes. It's satisfying to see things progress directly from the first with Cassandra recording her album for Mr. Big.I like the world of Wayne's World, and Wayne's World 2 is more of it.
