At the time it aired it was good because it was more Stargate, but now it is redundant. Characters were fine, but the plots were already running out of steam.

>>215584551the first three seasons were kino and a lot of fun to watch concurrently with late SG-1 including the occasional crossover. by the end of season 3 it becomes painfully obvious the showrunners don't know what to do with the show, so they start killing off and introducing new characters left and right, which completely killed my suspension of disbelief. to be fair, season 5 has some good episodes again, and if they absolutely had to get rid of elisabeth, they should have brought in woolsey right away and not shoehorn sam in there only to ditch her after a season AGAIN
