Are we ever going to get a good-quality film in this franchise? I think this is the only one of the big five (Scream, Halloween, Texas Chainsaw, Elm Street, and Friday, duh) that doesn’t have a single good film. Each of the others has at least one good movie — some have several. Scream even has more good ones than bad. But there isn’t even one genuinely good Friday the 13th movie, and the first one that’s considered “good” doesn’t even have Jason — the guy we all actually love. Is the franchise dead?

The remake is good. All the other ones are pretty shit. Except for Freddy vs. Jason. That one rocks. If only they could get the iconic villain from Saw to versus Jason and drag his sorry ass to having another good movie.

Its proboly lame as fuck to zoomers because they had no iphones or anything in those movies.And as for a future of slasher or horror films. Never fucking again. These were grass roots movies on $100,000 budget the were dirivitive on the imagination of the directors. Every thing else is netflixified and dirivitive.
