poor Domhnall Gleeson. relegated to evaporitive, forgettable, stream shit that nobody watches and will never earn a fan base
>>
good thing mr coinblatt shorted the company stock on a whim

>forty-one million subscribers

They're all from bundles with Comcast
Even though Comcast owns it and is paying itself that still technically counts
>>
Any relevance they had died when the WWE left them
>>
Yeah, no shit. There are like 1.2 billion different streaming services now
>>
41 million is a large number, since it is greater than 6 million. I would expect the stake holders to take this into account.
>>

>41 million subscribers
No fucking way. How many of these are 1 month free trial memberships or similar discounts? Judging by the $217 million quarterly loss I'm thinking it must be a lot. I can't believe Warner is going to be absorbed by another company before NBCUniversal though I guess Warner is presently more desirable as it carries a lot more value.

Covid and Netflix broke their brains and fucked the industry forever. Even normalfags I know irl are sick of paying for multiple services.
>>
>>215588143
NBCUniversal is already owned by Comcast who's trying to buy WB

what the fuck is peacock
>>
>>215587548
Yikes, the NBA gambit really hasn't paid off huh? Most fans I know are mad that they need to have multiple streamers to watch and have chosen to pirate the games, so not too surprised.
>>
>>215588212
Literally the only good streaming situation is the NFL since you just need YouTube TV and Prime, which everyone already has
>>
>>215588190
Didn't know that. Pretty funny. Desperate move since their own streaming service is clearly floundering. Oracle has much, much deeper pockets than Comcast so I imagine they'll be able to supersede Comcast's offer which will leave Comcast looking for another service to acquire or potentially selling off NBCUniversal down the line.
>>
>>215588212
dont watch sports. its all rigged. i look down on ppl who watch that crap
>>
>>215588230
Yeah but nobody is paying $300 for 17 NFL games when the local ones are OTA, even if it isn't your team it's at least free.
The NBA actually is only split among three subscriptions now, Prime, ESPN and Peacock, but the schedule looks retarded because some of the Peacock games are on NBC, and some aren't, and some of the ESPN games are on ABC, but some aren't, and they've got a national broadcast every day of the week. People look at the chart and just say "fuck that".

You aren't special or interesting.

Oracle is hesitating since Larry's son already bought Paramount and can't figure out how to make it profitable, Zaslav is saying they're not offering nearly enough
>>
>>215588044
I had it until wwe left
>>
I know Sony is retarded, perhaps even moreso than WB, but I wonder why they aren't in the mix to buy it? By all rights, they're swimming in money because they didn't go for the streaming moneypit and are taking in license fees from the others. And they have ZERO (0) IP besides Spider-Man, while WBs entire value is it's IP.
Also they're retarded enough to try a Spider-Man/DC crossover movie.

ever been to a nursing home or retirement community
every boomer is still there dying with a subscription to like 9 different things they dont watch

>You aren't special or interesting.
Not a mature way at all, to respond to my post. Everybody looks down on certain groups of ppl for all kinds of reasons. Fact of life. You should've just ignored it, if that's how you style your defensive rebukements of sane and non-controversial opinions.
