I've found that to combat 'second screen syndrome' where people look at their screens, playing my 9GB folder of Claire Gerhardstein's Swim Outlet videos on shuffle to the side of the kino has an incredibly positive effect of attention retention.
Perhaps TVs should come with this as a preset?
Have you had any experience with this?

No, I'm not a TikTok-brained zoomer.

When it's something I'm only mildly interested in (usually not fiction), I often do something like play 2048 or sudoku on the other half of the screen.

I tend to do this by scrolling /tv/ on my second monitor. a surprisingly effective method against "second screen syndrome", give it a try

you should try reading a book so you can maybe learn how to speak the English language at something resembling normal level of competence.

The solution is to regularly do things that require your extended attention. Read something, watch a long movie or series tv show, play chess. Anything that you have to pay attention to for 30 minutes or longer. Attention is a like a muscle you have to train. It can get weaker by doomscrolling tiktok all day, and it can get stronger by reading a book.

>'second screen syndrome'
I am an epic oldfag millenial borderline gen X and I remember when our parents used to get mad at us for staring at just the one screen of the one TV or the one giant desktop computer with CRT monitor in the living room.

Now kids, and also adults more or less my age, are running video-in-video with dual monitors and also keeping an eye on their phone with google glasses running.

and they're like "muh brain fog"

>>215587849
I noticed that with twitch streamers as well who are like 40 years old. They're exceptionally bad at video games and have gotten worse over time, and also just their attention span in general, because they constantly have to look at their stupid twitch chat all the time.

Jokes aside, yes. I have a slide show of woman jpegs running in vlc on the side. It changes pics every 7 minutes.

It really does help you focus in a weird way. Must be weird monkey brain stuff, but I find I have the urge to stop working and move to some menial task is diminished. I'm able to stay locked in on work for longer, albeit my focus on said work is a little weaker as every 30 minutes or so I do wind up glancing at the woman jpeg.

I'd be better without the slide show, but it's working so whatever. I'm not even gooning, it's purely a weird productivity quirk.

There exists a ~60gb folder of Claire Gerhardstein somewhere. I had access to it on a mega but it died. I need it back.

Which pics/woman?
>>215587829
Unironically yes, I've done this before, with OhKaylin's pics/reels. It's nice to do when watching a movie to fall asleep to.
