This guy from Are You Afraid of the DarkAlso, there was a plumber guy from Salute Your Shorts I think, hard to remember.
>>215600095Hey you said it, not me.
>>215600150Zeke the Plumber. I don't know, that was always just that dork camp counselor in a crappy mask. I remember Hey Dude had a pretty creepy episode for Halloween. You didn't see anything, but it was a story about campers getting killed in their sleep, and it was pretty grim for a kid's show.

>>215600282>when you nut and she keep suckin
There was one episode of one of the scary kids shows. I think it was Goosebumps, but might have been Are You Afraid of The Dark. Anyway, I think the family got an old piano and it came with a ghost lady who played it at night and that scared the shit out of me.Oh, turns out the whole episode is on YT https://youtu.be/rxjH2Tk7HOgIt's not as scary now that I'm almost 40

Gave me nightmares as a kid
the slight uncanniness of these two freaked me out as a small kidwhich is ironic because I'd soon grow to be sort of a hippie weirdo who could be described as gelfling/muppet-ish too so *shrug*
>>215600655I think maybe because I was raised as a Christian and I could sense the paganness of the gelflings (their character designers were pagans and imbued their drawings with weird vibes) so it might have had a sense of spiritual wrongness or aliennesssimilarly I remember going to a science center and being deeply weirded out by life sized models of archaic hominids which I hadn't really heard about yet (we hadn't gotten around to discussing evolution) so there was this creepy sensation of some scary other or wrong deep history I'd never heard of. sort of a Lovecraftian sensation I guess
Don't know what the fuck you guys mean by "as a kid", I am finding all of these very disturbing. Nothing scarier than a dodgy costume.
>>215600194>stop looking at the TV before the eyes glow and start looking again when I know it's over

>>215600150Apartment 214 scared the shit out of me. And I'm talking with in recent years when I was going back through them all. It's when she turns up all of a sudden talking about the little negress breaking her promise. Also the Super Specs episode is both unnerving and surprisingly dark.
>>215600440Go the FUCK back
I legit ran out of the theatre crying at a friend's birthday party the first time this mothefucker appeared on screen. Another friend's mom actually saw me and came out of the theatre after me to talk to me and make sure I was alright. I remember she said something like "Yeah, I think he was kinda scary too" and made me feel better. It could have been a really embarrassing and traumatic memeroy but thanks to her I'll always hold on to it as a time somebody else saw that a piece of entertainment affected me negatively and cared enough to make sure I was okay. And for what it's worth, I managed to watch the rest of the movie and today can still enjoy it, even if the animated film is way better.
Someone can post the other one or I'll end up spamming the thread

A lot of things in Little Nemo in Slumberland unnerved me as a kid. I think part of it was how quickly the movie went from fun happy dream stuff to literal nightmares.
>>215600194The intro was a million times more scary than the show
>>215600848That movie actually used to be my sweet dream fuel. I would fall asleep fantasizing about floating around in the clouds naked with strange girls.
Remember when this lady basically tried to seduce the boy in the treehouse though? Kind of hot
>>215600060I watched both the 50s The Fly and the 80s version as a kid, and the 80s one is obviously known for being fucking gross. But honestly the scene that always disturbed me the most was in the 50s fly at the end, when they actually find the fly who is now half man and he's about to be eaten by a tarantula begging in his squeaky voice to be killed. Still creeps me out to this day, not even the 80s version makes you pity the scientist as much as this scene

>>215601074No, you can't do this to me.
I don't have a gif or anything and would like one but in the movie JackO a woman gets electrocuted and it was fucking brutal. I couldn't go to sleep at my friend's Halloween slumber party afraid it would happen to me. The scene in mosquito where the guy gets all his blood sucked out and his eyes burst is a close second.
This scene in Halloween fucked with me for a long time when I was young. Still kinda creepy.
My parents put on Bride of Chucky when I was like 4 and Chucky scared the shit out of me so bad that for the next couple of years I slept with the sheets over my head and was basically always anxious about Chucky attacking me when I was alone. I was actually terrified of using the bathroom and would never fully close the door and keep my eyes on the vents in case he popped out of there. I finally rewatched it like 20 years later and it's one of the best horror comedies of all time.

This scene by itself was pretty jarring, but what was worse was the implication that millions of people died this way.
My father showed me The Blob 80s version when I was way too young. The scene where the girl is in the phone booth and the melting sheriff is pressed against the glass made me scream and run away. I asked him later what made him think it was a good kids movie and apparently he remembered it being family friendly with a blob of goo chasing people, nothing more. For years I had fears of being alone in rooms like the toilet, stairs or elevators because I thought the blob would get me

>>215608468They did a good job of showing just enough to let you figure out and make the connection that the red shit all over the place was ground up people without being explicit about it.
I remember watching this as a kid and it was truly frightening .
>>215604159Holy fuck, I forgot about the scarecrow clown
>>215600060Camo Beast from Primeval. I don't remember anything from the show other than dinosaurs coming through glass portals but this shit stuck in my mind forever. Kid me cried when this thing appeared in that abandoned house.
what's a family horror like the witches?
>>215608769I remember seeing the abduction scene as akid and that was enough to sacred me into not wanting to see the rest, thank god. Having parents who were into UFO's and alien stuff was what caused most of my childhood fears.
What were they thinkingq

I remember a movie when i was little with a clown arm that reached all the way from the bedroom to someone sitting in the living room. I just walked into the living room seeing my grandma watching that scene and that scared me shitless.Anyone knows what movie it is?And no im not afraid of clowns. Seeing IT was worse. But it was class of 1999 cyborgs that hit me the most.
>>215600060Most of Rankin Bass was creepy but awesome
>>215600907Whole movie has a creepy vibe.
>>215605711Let this be the inscription on my headstone.
>>215600150yeah this fucker was terrifying
This scene spooked me real bad as a kid
>>215600908>>215600060watching this tonight, and for me the scariest thing in the movie was the girl who was trapped int he painting and would age and eventually died

>>215600868No, that was Are you afraid of the dark. Goosebumps at least had a few uneasy episodes. AYAOTD had a legitimately scary intro, but then the shows starts and all the acting, characters, and storylines are goofy and play into being humourous.>>215604453There is an episode where a boy and his bandmates turn into pets. Its ironically one of the goofier/least scary episodes.
S1-S2 the haunting hour had some creepy stuff
all of the Scarecrow gas scenes in Batman Begins horrified me when I watched it as a kid. I think I was maybe 8 or 9https://youtu.be/2oE3iNAMUGA?si=lGaRJkANvm2RrPdr
the source of all my childhood fear
>>215602734Exquisite tasteliterally every scene from that movie is nightmare fuel, even in the opening scene in the doctor's office where he points out the "smiley face" on the electroshock machine. I still hear my unconscious whispering "poison..." whenever I eat eggs.
>>215600060Seeing this artwork on the shelf at the video store fucking terrified me
>>215600095It's a horror thread, dumbass. Literally 99% of horror is code warning us about the Jew, and ALWAYS has been. Why do you think (((Hollywood))) has churned out over 10,000 Dracula adaptations since the 1920's? Damage control from what Stoker revealed.
>>215610490>AYAOTD had a legitimately scary intro, but then the shows starts and all the acting, characters, and storylines are goofy and play into being humourous. It is a kid's show after all, but even as a kid's show it had a legitimately creepy/scary episodes like The Tale Of The Kid With The Red Bike Who Fuckin Drowned and The Tale Of The God Damn Zombie Demon Who Drowned Some More Kids In The School's Secret Pool. Not their actual titles, but you get the idea. AYAoTD wasn't shy to show real deaths, or at least showing kids dealing with death and mortality.Goosebumps was moreso like "Oh No! Goblins Ate My Homework!"
I was scared of stupid stuff. >pokemon stadium sound effects for horn drill and guillotine >boss of Fred in the flint stones movie who screamed FLINSTOOOOONE>yoshi story bowser level sound effect where you get stabbed by those knife things

>>215610490That was both shows. I loved the Goosebumps books as a kid but the show was so disappointing. It had none of the creepiness of the books and everything felt low stakes, it was just like every other low budget Made in Canada kid's show.
