I like that it's paced like the novel and the unease comes from the town rather than back to back jumpscares.I also like that they are being very scarce with the clown imagery and prioritizing weird monsters tailored to each kidThe racism is very accurate to the book which I enjoy, I just wish they had the balls to say nigger even once, but I get that it needs to have mass appeal. I don't care for the military subplot. It feels out of place but if they are really setting up other King works, then I guess it explains why the whole thing has a Green Mile vibe.
