This act also completely changes the hero's point of view and he also course corrects because of the antagonist. No other movie has ever tried anything like this.
I don't understand people that say life is short. I'm 32 and feel like I've been alive for an eternity and experienced virtually almost everything life has to offer. I have extremely vivid memories of being 4-5 and they feel like they happened thousands of years ago.

Saving Deckard isn't a change of heart for Roy, as much as it's just an extension of his joyful approach.

He just wanted to be their friend and help them. Without Sebastian, Roy wouldn't have even gotten in to see Tyrell before Roy died. Yet, they heartlessly killed Sebastian anyway.

Roy only kills Tyrell, Sebastian, and (iirc, correct me if I'm wrong here) the eye designer - and I realized a bit ago that these are all people involved in creating Replicants.
