It kinda works in a video game setting when you are playing in first person perspective and moving around trying to find your way out but otherwise it's pretty tedious to watch. It's ages i'm trying to find a short about a guy stucked in a time loop in his apartment. Every time he wake up, he does something and then a horrifying thing happens and he wake up, relieved it was only a nightmare, but shit keeps happening everytime he wakes up.
