>infamous cannibal psychopath kills 2 police officers and a whole ambulance crew
>cut to C-130 full of FBI headed to take down some tranny who's killed a few random women over the span of months
>no mention of the guy who just killed a half dozen public servicemen until the end of the movie
Why is this shit so highly praised?

Prestige horror.

>kills 2 police officers and a whole ambulance crew
was self-defense

What kind of fucktarded complaint is that? Do you literally watch movies looking to complain? Are they supposed to fuck up the pacing with a shitty cliche news report on a tv or something? Goddamn this board sucks.

didnt the tranny hold the daughter of the senator or something. the

>hardened your nipples, hasnt it
a subtle redpill about modern (post-frech revolution, which granted them rights) women regularly abusing their children
>>

>a half dozen public servicemen
4 doesn't make half a dozen.
Probably why they didn't bother mention it.
>>
>>215610641
I hate A.I but I'd lie if I wouldn't say that a Silence of the Lambs and Seven mashup, maybe a 4-5 episode series, doesn't tickle me pink.

They literally say how he killed a tourist at a Memphis airport and he could be anywhere now. It turns out he's out of the United States. Do you assume there wasn't also a massive manhunt underway? There would've been, Clarice just isn't involved with that and why would she be? She's a trainee.

>(post-frech revolution, which granted them rights)
Fun fact the French Revolution took away their right to vote, which they had until then at the municipal level.

lol, thank you for edifying me anon
I kind of given up on history after the 1300s

And you were right, everything is boring after the Black Death.

when even Norwegian rats become infected with some obscure Indian disease it's time to cash out

LIKE IT SHOULD
BASED HERCULES

I have an actual real complaint: Why did they give a guy who is supposed to be a cannibal animal meat for dinner? That was insensitive.
>>

wasn't she a great big fat person?
>>
>>215612043
from what I remember he was scheduled for execution on short notice (the congressman deal doesn't change that), so he could have any meal he wished
>>
>>215612111
He was in an asylum not death row you stupid reddit cuck.
>>
>>215610996
I don't get it
>>
>>215612111
>he was scheduled for execution
Not in the movie, they say he will die in this cell, he even trades infos for a better prison.
>>
>>215612111
He was in a hotel and being treated like a guest to some degree because he was assisting with the search for a senator's daughter.
Do people just not watch the movies while they're playing in front of them then fill in the blanks in the plot with their imagination?
>>
>>215612221
okay maybe I need to watch it again
stupid cuck
>>

thank you, I am stupid (maybe)

>>215611029
Yep. Four dead prison guards in a 90s movie is literally nothing. They're donut eating, stupid ass prison guards there to be murdered and posed in a disturbing, ritualistic fashion. 1990s movie viewers felt literally nothing for their lives.

they tried to trick him into transferring to Anthrax Island

holy fucking shit retard…

they thought they had an address on buffalo bill. meaning it’s fucking go time.

lecter they had zero info on other than general area (but he stole a car) and they know he’s a super genius.

no shit the first would be prioritized until they learn it’s the wrong address. and at that exact moment we get a cut to clarice and bill.
>>

>Why is this shit so highly praised?
Because Red Dragon (the novel) was a steaming pile of shit and Thomas Harris clearly paid a ghost writer to write the sequel. There's no similarity in writing style between the two. The most plausible thing in the book is the physical description of the Quantico campus and that's the first five pages of it. The dialogue is witty at times but no, it's another 1990s forensic psychology bullshit tale.

The pull of the movie is 75% Anthon Hopkins and 25% the tranny serial killer. That's what people remember about it. The direction is competent too. The rest is entirely forgettable.
