Is this the most ambitious/riskiest scene in filmmaking history?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7jo5Cr6WUA
I was literally floating
>>215629520good songs but the movie was fucking trash. i'm black so i can say that without sounding racist.bleh!
>>215629520confusing at first, really deep after several rewatch.
I liked this movie. The music and Jack O'Connell are the best parts of it. I have like half of the OST in my catch-all playlist. Some really fun sequences in it. It's about black people in the Jim Crow south, it's to be expected that there will be muh racism stuff in it cause black folks really did have a hard time in that time and place. Coogler can't help himself and goes overboard a few times but there was enough fun stuff otherwise to make me not care too much. It was a decent horror flick with great music. Also this chick is gorgeous and I liked looking at her.
I can't be arsed to give a shit about another "black people were mistreated" story no matter how well done.
>>215630601Well, that's because you're a racist lowlife.
>>215630614But my favorite movie stars Denzel.....
>>215629520is this movie as 'le white folks bad' as it looks or not at all?
>>215630628Ok, nevermind. You aight, white boy.
>>215630635you life must be so fucking fun
>>215630646lip tart
>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVsLpg2InPoFor me? It's music from Africa (all countries).
>>215629520This movie was good up until they started actually fighting with the vampires at the end. All the cool cinematography went out the window and it felt like they were rushing to get to the end. Also the retarded>hey remember the klan guy from the very beginning of the movie>yea it's time to kill them now too because they're still part of the movie for some reason
@215630635i won't give you a (You) for such a retarded 0/10 ragebait, but take a WILD guess on why the white people in that movie are of Irish ancestry and SPECIFICALLY Irish people, in a movie occuring a few decades after the 1860-1880s. Please take a guess.
The rocky road to dublin scene was kino as fuck
>>215629520the trippiest part was the Shen Yung stuff when the asian couple starts dancing, then slowly transitions to the senegalese Gaindé dance. That is one wild generational and cultural travel i would have never imagined being in a movie.
>>215630795apparently the guy was actually an irish competitive dancer in his youth, so when coogler asked him to do that scene, it was piss easy for him and didn't need to take classes
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xh5bhmU8X8the ost is really great, this song in particular is just beautiful
>>215630995That one touched my soul
