This show is honestly a piece of shit, so far.Episode 1 was alright.Episode 2 was horrific.I'm really not one of those "complain about woke diversity shit" guys, usually. But 95% of the second episode was about white on black racism. I really do not give a fuck within the context of IT. I actually like most of the actors but the material they have is such shit. A major part of IT, and it's adaptions, is that all the adults/parents are weird at best, or straight up evil and abusive. Yet in this retarded episode all the black parents are basically angels and the only people with any decency at any point, including the one who has severe brain damage. In a single episode we see racism through the lens of the military guy at work, the three military blacks at the bar, the military guy's wife multiple times, one of the other military black guys at work and the movie theater dad.It's unbelievably boring to sit through. Which is a shame, because when the actual horror shit does happen it's actually well done. This whole military angle, in general, is honestly shit. We all know it's going nowhere because IT is still there decades later. The government weaponizing IT is a fucking retarded concept to begin with. The show honestly feels like a giant waste of time after two episodes. It'll only keep people watching with shock value.
