I experienced something like this myself, and it was in Scotland. I was pulled over by a woman police officer and made to show all my belongings and give a full account of where I had been that night. She was a snide bitch about it, as if trying to provoke me into saying or doing something that would give her an excuse to arrest me. But I saw her game, and I didn't play it. She couldn't pin anything on me.
