>"It does not take many words to speak the truth." - Chief Johnson
Zack Snyder's 'Man of Steel' trilogy is superior to James Gunn's "Superman" in every imaginable sense of the word. I will lay this out in four simple points, discounting what has been said already:
1. The 'Man of Steel' trilogy is illuminating, while James Gunn's "Superman" is goyim-perpetuating.
2. The 'Man of Steel' trilogy is a critique of established religion from a Hellenistic lens - transposed with a critique of secularism, of consumerism, of modern politics, of both isolationism and globalism; "Superman" is a presentist joke, in the end – criticizing nothing, and agreeing with everything.
3. The 'Man of Steel' trilogy has a distinct visual style, to which its themes are deftly woven, while "Superman" is tonally dissimilar from its visual elements (which are used for thematically-lacking visual glitter).
4. And, finally: truth, quality, and sanctity will last – even in the depths of culture, and beyond all despots and admonishments. It will last, even in the recesses of that which wishes to kill it. It can be mimicked, mocked, and devalued. And yet, truth sustains.

James Gunn's hamfisted socialist Superman comes of as hypocritical when Gunn has mocked men who are weak or not "masculine enough" in the padt
Also, Superman cant both be a symbol for male selfsacrifice and liberal troon values, this would just mean "kindness" boils down to approving makeup and expressive clothing on a male just as long as he mutilate himself or else he has to live Clark Kents introvert, functionalistic and hard working lifestyle without the mutilation

Bryan Singer’s 'Superman Returns' is superior to Zach Synder’s "Man of Steel" in every imaginable sense of the word. I will lay this out in four simple points, discounting what has been said already:

Superman Returns visuals were superior to MOS. It’s a beautifully filmed movie. Just the entire plot was a boring mess. This scene of Superman recharging in the sun is shit Sneeder wished he could’ve done

>”Batman’s dark." I’m like, okay, "No, Batman’s cool." He gets to go to a Tibetan monastery and be trained by ninjas. Okay? I want to do that. But he doesn’t, like, get raped in prison. That could happen in my movie.

No. Returns and MOS both missed the target. Returns was just Singer doing a love letter to the Donner movies. It was boring mess that made zero sense. A “loose” follow up to Superman 2 with Lois having Superman’s mind rape baby. MOS was just trying to make Superman into a Batman movie. Gunn’s Superman just fully embraced the ridiculousness of Superman and wasn’t embarrassed by it
>>
>>215657999
i don't even know what the fuck you are trying to say. snyder's gone. his dc universe is over and never coming back. crying about gunn for the rest of your life doesn't solve anything.

Turning Superman into a full on comedy in the same world as Peacemaker is Superman 3 levels of cringe. Krypto doesn't work on film. Smallville did it better.
>>
>>215658055
I don’t even get their stupid complaint. Gunn’s Superman wasn’t trying to be edgy or realistic. He went all in on the Silver Age type ridiculousness which I find refreshing. Bored of muh realistic Batman same way I’m bored of muh Jesus boring symbol grim dark Superman

It’s the first movie you retard. Gunn wasn’t even going to do a solo Superman movie but felt it was needed to re-establish the character. Man of Tomorrow is going to be a full on action team up. Gunn is giving each character one movie to establish themselves before big action team ups

I'm convinced every person in Smallville knew Clark was Superman and not one of them said a word when Zod was threatening the Earth.
Clark's human dad was a tremendous stupid cunt.
>>
>>215653933
The Snyder movies are just flat-out better movies in every regard. Gunn's Superman just felt like a high-budget CW show, zero artistic value whatsoever.
I keep meaning to rewatch them but they're pretty fucking long and ZS Justice League is next level long.
>>
>>215658691
I don’t get where you get the liberal slice of life

Clark becomes Superman and starts to neglect the parents who raised him because he’s too busy. Also trying to embrace his Kryptonian heritage but he’s not happy. He knows something is wrong. Then he finds out his Jewish/ Kryptonian parents want him use his super Jew powers to enforce the Jewish/Kryptonian way. Clark rejects them for the old fashion midwest values of the people who raised him. Ends with him being happy as he watched videos and picture of his American family

Nice try, asshole
1. You complained about the lack of slice of life drama, social realism and messaging in MoS
2. You complained about MoS being action and adventure focused
3.You went on about the "kindness is the new punkrock" and claimed people are chuds for not liking Gunn's hypocrite liberal values Superman
Clark Kent and Superman are both a symbol of male selfsacrifice and hard work, you cant then have him also be a symbol of troon normalization
Feel free to point me to the 40s Superman male character in flamboyant clothing and makeup then, if me being against liberak mital values makes me an antisemite cause the original creators were jews
Golden age Superman didn't have that conflict
