I really don't understand why this specific franchise causes so many anons to have a melty. They aren't the only violent horror movies to exist, and no one gets this mad about Saw, Hostel, or the countless trashy gore films of the 70s and 80s. The plot is about a cute tradcath girl defeating an evil demon, so the complaints of jew subversion ring hollow. They're low budget and entirely practical effects which /tv/ usually champions. Are boomers really just mad that everyone's forgotten about Jason and Michael Myers and have moved on to other things?
