As a 80s/90s kid I thought war was cool. Played with little plastic army men all the time and ran around in the woods playing war with my friends. Most of the good war movies I had access to were vietnam themed. Did like a few WW2 ones too, though. Probably watched pic related a 100 times on VHS.
