where do I plug the HDMI cable?
>>
>have enough space for it to unfold

I don't care about this gay shit. I miss 3d tv.

>now
You mean five minutes from now when it’s done unfolding?
>>
>>designed by Porsche
Now let's see Lambo and Ferrari's tvs.
>>
This is one of the dumbest things I have ever seen.
>>
>>215669413
That's going to be a right fucker to fix.

The future is so much shittier than I expected.

yo isnt that the nigga from interstellar?
>>
>>215669413
For what purpose?
Just get a giant wall mounted TV.
It's not like rich fucks are hurting for living space.
>>
>>215669448
TVs are 3D you cyclops
>>
>>215669413
>clip is sped up
yeah i am not waiting for that nonsense
>>
>have to wait a full minute for the tv to open every time you want to watch something
>can't leave any accessories or cables plugged into it
>have to remodel your living room to get it repaired
>will be outdated in five years
>all for the benefit of having a few extra feet of floor space up against the wall when you aren't using it
Who is this for?
>>
who asked for this?
>>
>>215669413
What about a tv that lays down and you can put a mattress on it and use it as a bed? No stealing my idea.
>>
>>215669413
>Accidentally hit power off
>it's the last seconds of overtime in your favorite sportsball match

>>
>climb into the TV while it's closing

>>
>>215669505
Turning on any modern TV takes a minute or two now because they're all slow computers that need to boot up first.
>>
>>215669413
>hold on my tv has to unfold
>>
>>215669907
They're still faster than CRTs and only take maybe 1 second at most.
>but muh cozy CRTs!
Whatever, you had to wait for that shit to warm up and the image would just slowly fade in. It was still faster than that dumbass Porsche TV though.
>>
>>215669413
what a useless piece of shit.

Gotta update those hundreds of apps that you never use and patch those security holes.
>>
>>215669936
But CRTs could switch channels instantly. Now you always have this stupid 1sec pause when switching channels.
>>
>>215670314
wasn't just about the TV, it was the signal g analogue was just better.
also if reception was poor you had a few grains on the screen, if digital is poor it turns into tetris at the first gust of wind
>>
>>215670314
>>215670343
Kek you are really going full rose tinted glasses with this shit. If you had poor signal, you'd get a distorted static mess, not "just a few grains". Channel switching also took about the same amount of time, maybe about .5 seconds just like digital is now.
>>
>>215669429
you connect to it through bluetooth
>>
>>215669743
>Turn off your fancy folding TV and walk away while it does its folding thing.
>Come back and see that it crushed and killed your cat
>>
>>215669469
You got a bee ona you hat
>>
>>215670383
are you retarded or just 12.
channel switching was instant, you could flick between channels so fast you could make sentences out of a word from every channel. either you weren't alive or had a shit TV from 1960
also analogue signals meant a graduation of degradation, from a few grains to white fuzz. I picked up channels from abroad when the aerial was right.
digital is dogshit and has almost zero tolerance, practically on or off - black screen most of the time. what a pile of shut, all so they can squeeze more dogshit onto the same bandwidth
>>
>>215669439
you could use it as a bench or store items on it when it's folded up
>>
>>215670554
Late 80s/early 90s. My folks had one of those giant CRTs for the time, so maybe that made shit slower. But shit signal was shit signal.
>I picked up channels from abroad when the aerial was right.
I'd do that with radio but not sure I ever did with TV, I guess I never even considered trying. I'd get some weird shit that was probably public access late at night though, not sure what it was but it was always weird low budget information shows or religious junk.
>>
>>215670449
>Come back and see that it crushed and killed your cat
kekekekekek
>>
>>215670449
cats have an annoying tendency to get themselves in weird places so this doesn't even sound that unlikely
>>
>>215669439
>>215669534
It's for cyber punk dystopian hive cities. You use the tv as a baricade during the day so your workers cant leave. then at night, you shut down the tv and open up a path so they can go home.
>>
>>215669413
They are going to sell 10 of these to Saudi princes and crypto billionaires who will never use it.
>>
>>215670586
Yeah that sure won't void the warranty or possibly cause it irreparable damage. Also would be hilarious if it stopped mid-folding because of a firmware update error or other modern bullshit and now you have a large, bulky, expensive heap of junk.
>>
>>215669413
my tv is over 14 years old saar. come to india!
>>

>>
>>215669413

plebian technology. Make it crt or are they are too poor to have space for a crt
>>
>>215669907
my dumb tv and kogan smart tv not connected to anything boots up immediately
>>
>>215671371
>a four panel, folding 137" CRT
It'd be the size of a house!
>>
>>215669413
Now they just need to make the self-propelled version
>>
So this is just the tv with fancy folding?
I'd buy it for a few grands, but 400?
Lmao.
>>
>>215669907
This is just patently incorrect. I have used several "Smart TV's" with varying levels of integration of other "Smart" programs, and none have had this problem.
>>
>>215669439
This is genuinely a good point. If space is so cramped that it needs to be able to fold itself away, you don't have room for it to unfold itself and be useable in the first place.
Unless this things is intended to somehow be """portable""", I see no point to this design.
>>
>>215669413
>fold-up screen
Doesn't that mean that even while fully deployed, there are still tiny but still at least barely-perceptible vertical lines on the screen due to where each of the folding portions connect to each other?
That shit would absolutely drive me crazy.
>>
>>215669413
What about when the motor in the base fails while it's raising into position and drops your 137" TV on the floor
>>
>>215669439
>>215671765
It's not designed for homes, it's a demo of technology that's being developed for roads to pop up and play ads during red lights
>>
>>215671860
Nah its that bendy shit like the folding phones have. There will be no lines on a $400k tv lol
>>
>>215671765
Someone with 400000 dollars to spend on a TV isn't lacking for space, this is clearly just a novelty item for mega richfags but it's how all technologies start
>>
>>215669413
>it folds

wow. amazing.
>>
>>215669413
>spend 500k on this
>your drunk uncle smashes it because the Dodgers lost again
Kino
>>
>>215670383
>Channel switching also took about the same amount of time, maybe about .5 seconds just like digital is now.
Wrong
>>
>>215671765
I think it’s meant to be for an outdoor space, use it as a bar surface and then at night unfold it for out door movies.
>>
>>215669413
Wouldn't it be better and cheaper to have a roll down fabric screen and a projector? Who would pay for this junk?
>>
>>215669413
I can assure you that people like Jeff Bezos or Musk don't own stupid shit like this, they use normal tvs like the rest of humanity.

This looks like it was made for African or south american dictators that steal from their country's wealth.
>>
>>215672419
>duuuuuuude the billionaires don't use extravagant shit like this bro they wear flipflops and drive a beat honda cause dey smart !!
Why are peasants so obsessed with the idea that rich elites are relatable n shiet? I assume you Bezos owns billions of dollars worth of utterly retarded shit
>>
>>215672471
Bro why are you so mad? I'm just pointing out that the richest men on the planet don't use that kind of garbage.
The target demographic for this thing doesn't even exist.
And Billionaires don't use flip flops? Not even at the beach? That's bizarre. What do they use?
>>
>buy projector for $500
>invest 399,500
>>
>>215672419
>>215672507
debased retard
>>
It's not even that big
>>
>>215672364
>use it as a bar surface
The top surface isn't flat so the moment you spill something it will run down the screen, and it's unlikely they want you putting anything on top of it
>>
>>215672507
What the fuck do you know about the richest men on the planet, nigger?
>>
>>215671371
My first thought upon seeing that over-engineered ridiculously impractical waste of time was that the only people who would ever own this are people with the worst taste in everything ever like sultans and Dubai oligarchs. Just gotta wrap it in a gucci or Louis Vuitton print and you’re good to go, throw it in one of a dozen penthouses some daddys oil money sand nigger spends maybe two days out of the year in next to a gold statue of an NBA player.

>>
>>215672382
For $400,000 you would have your own i-max including the building and seating.
>>
What are points of these? You dont have content for them. We are still in era of 1080p. If you get anything higher. Bitrate will be mess. With tv that size. Bad bitrate will jump out from it.
Its better to use projector that adds its natural "grain"
>>
>>215672654
Can you get micro led/micro oled/micro whatever sheet by now? Can you turn your wall to tv yet. They showed this tech out last year and early this year. Is there products out yet.

Becouse wall that was also tv would be cool rich guy element. Have it look like regular wall. Then turn the channels and its tv
>>
>>215672598
Seething about people who don't substantiate their claims yeah, when was the last time you visited bezos' or musk's estates?
