Press F for his Hollywood dreams
at least he did something. Did he do any shorts before? It seemed like he had no idea what he's doing. If I wanted to make movies, I'd run around with a camera all the time and try out some angles or movements, or I'd just draw storyboards and shit. Does he do that?
>>215670172It made more money than space cop and avgn movie
>>215670172Press S to spit on his grave
>>215670619He did shorts and they all sucked. He also wrote scripts and they sucked, too.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntNOTlcLAnM
>>215670172the tribute he had to pay to get his movie produced was coming out as "pansexual"if he wants to do another one he'll just need to start transitioning, it's that easy
>>215670619No. Whether it's him, RLM, or Doug Walker, if they wanted to be filmmakers, they would be.It only requires talent and drive. If these people had either, they wouldn't be YouTubers.
>>215671585He got the money from Kickstarter, you idiot. You think his online fans wanted him to come out as pansexual? You fucking retard.
>>215670172Funny how all these Lucas haters end up being hundreds times shittier filmmakers.
not a flop

>>215671714You're right, every good businessman understands the value of spending 3 dollars now to make 4 dollars tomorrow. Always a deal worth making.

>>215671866Check the timeline, fag
>>215670172Its cool that he did something, not sure why he went for horror slop though. Is he a big horror guy? A lot of these youtubers dont seem to know what they like since they make money praising everything thats popular. Like what is he going for as a filmmaker? Such an odd debut choice. Its not even like knockoff Sam Raimi “fun” horror like most filmnerd horror debuts are, it looks more like a blumhouse movie, just like totally run of the mill horror slop.
>>215671916>not sure why he went for horror slop thoughIt was going to be a youtube series, but then big studios offered to distribute it as an actual film if he could put it together
>>215670172>2 million weekend 1>770k weekend 2 and a 67% dropGET FUCKMANNISED >>215671770BASED KEKMANN DAMAGE CONTROLI saw facebook ads for this shit, it definitely had a bigger marketing budget.
>>215671937Oh I guess that makes sense. Still strange to me though, I didnt realize he was that into horror.
>>215671875>he thinks you can just ask and your masters will grant you money with no strings attachedthere's nothing to check; it's either why or how he got the money, I don't care which is which.
>>215671989>comes out as pansexual in January 2021>gets the Kickstarter funded in March 2021>???>sells Shelby Oaks to Neon in July 2024Yeah, he sure came out as pansexual to get Neon to put in more money into his film and release it wide.>why or how he got the moneyBecause Mike Flanagan saw himself in Stuckmann and wanted to help. Neon saw dollar signs because it was a low budget horror film from a YouTuber with millions of followers (who already funded his film). They thought Stuckmann was going to repeat what RackaRacka did with Talk To Me.
lot of people itt don't get it. fact is he made a film, it got distributed and apparently made a little money. he got his forklift certification so he's good to go regardless of how shit his movies are
>>215671916it actually makes perfect sense because horrors are cheap to make and horrorfags will watch anything
>>215671916>not sure why he went for horror slop though>Such an odd debut choiceBecause horror is the #1 best genre for first-time filmmakers. There isn't a #2 best genre btw. >cheap as fuck to make>doesn't require star actors with big salaries>doesn't require globetrotting to exotic locations>doesn't require tons of CGI, VFX or stunts>doesn't require more than one creepy location, a handful of no name actors and a few doors that open on their own, the rest is sound design>doesn't require great acting, great writing or great anything unlike drama, comedy, thriller or sci-fi>ravenous fanbase for horror films, the films practically market themselves because of their online word-of-mouth>the only genre that you can make as a complete unknown with peanut budget and get it released wide
>>215670172chris is based
>>215672064they aren't watching this
>>215672069never post this webm again
>>215672070you have to understand, he's not a good filmmaker
>>215672030>what RackaRacka did with Talk To MeDamn some mr beast tier youtubers made a critically acclaimed a24 movie and the movie guy youtuber made some m night shyamalan slop…
>>215671946>using facebook in 2025
>>215670619>at least he did something
>>215671266Tell that to Zodd's snapped neck
>>215671676Dude unironically destroyed his brain with Weed and cant even make coherent Youtube videos anymore
>>215671916>not sure why he went for horror slop thoughhorror films have the highest budget to profit ratio, often like 5x their budget or more. So it makes sense to make a horror movie as your first movie if you want to make money to make higher budget movies afterwards. But I guess some directors probably use them just to try and cash in. Some of them consistently make bad horror movies, like the Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey guys, they've made dozens of horror movies and they're all bad.
>>215672703>horror films have the highest budget to profit ratio, not this one
>>215672733Maybe he should make one like winnie the pooh, it made ~$8 million with a budget of $50k
>>215672798Jack the Necksnapper would have cleared 10 milly easy
>>215672831He could make Snow White and the Seven Snapped Necks in a few years when it's public domain.
>>215672949Stealing that idea
>>215672949Oh wait, Snow White is already public domain
