Are you under the impression guns are geo locked irl?
>>
>>215672900
War has changed. Also that's obviously an FN FAL.

Depending on different things...they freeze up.
>>
>>215672900
>>215672908
certain gas operated guns won't work in the cold because the gas won't expand enough
>>215672912
it's not a g3. it's one of their 5.56 g3 like guns
>>
>>215672912

>>
>>215673595
it's a german hk93. norway used the g3 but idk how much carpenter thought about that vs just using what was available
>>
The gun is the thing

They tested m16 in cold. It works until in minus 60 fahrenheit. They even changed rifling designs to make it more accurate in cold.
But you still need cold weather lube and be careful it dosent freeze.
If those aren't issue. Then it's about sight. How do they handle tempeture change and cold. Are they accurate in cold.
>>
>>215673678
I saw a jewtube video where they froze and ar and an ak and only the ak worked. It's just the cooler gun

if anyone itt is confused about HKs retarded ass external numbering system
HK made the G3 using stolen nazi scientists from spain
the second digit being 1 means 7.62x51
then they tried to make 2 7.62x39 which no one bought
3 is 5.56/223
4 is 9mm aka the MP5.
the first digit is the type of gun so a HK33 is the military assault rifle version of the 5.56/.223 HK
a 4 means the same gun as the 3 but for like national guardsmen to buy and take home so it has a semi auto trigger pack but can take a full auto pack. so
HK41 is a semi auto G3
HK43 is a semi auto HK33
a 9 means semi auto version for the US market so they get rid of the bayonet lug and changed the trigger pack so you can't mount a full auto trigger pack
HK91 is an American semi auto G3
HK93 is an American semi auto HK33 aka the gun in the thing
HK94 is an American semi auto MP5, like from diehard. in diehard it's missing the paddle mag release because they had to redesign the trigger pack for US laws

kek no. It's about the lubrication. Metal isn't going to slide around easily anymore if the oils freeze up and stop being slippery.

AK is the gun. Even child will figure it out. And child can't break it.
AR is more like specialised tool. It needs more care. More training. But if requirements are met. It will serve you well.
Ocasionally someone suggest to equipping regular guys in US army with AK platform guns. And anyone up to that with AR. Regular guys don't need upside AR offers. But upside of more reliable and easier to up keep and use gun would be beneficial.

Cold can affect ammo. But it takes -40 for extended periods. Modern ammo isn't issue in regular winter shooting. If it stored like you normaly would.

ARs aren't exactly that complicated and they are more easily useable with a bunch of off the shelf things like red dots. trying to put modern optics on an AK and then making sure you don't have a neck weld is a chore
