I think the narration at the ending is awful also, I wasn't particularly impressed by the ending, but it would have been pretty good if not for that narration. Even just repeating the 'man falling from a skyscraper' thing the once felt a bit unnecessary to me, but repeating it again and saying 'it's about a society falling down' instead just felt silly.
