Snyder fought to keep the sword in WW. Jenkins wanted it gone as it was in her mind too barbaric. Her initial vision before being overridden by Snyder was what she gave in WW84.

Honestly I can’t blame Snyder. Obviously he saw her massive cute potential and simply thought “well she can just learn an American accent” except she never did. Whether she was being a hard ass or was so untalented and just couldn’t do it we’ll never know. But the fact of the matter is doing an American accent is a pretty much the baseline for being an actor, literally all the UK actors can do it, and thus Gal failed to achieve greatness.
