It's crazy how much power he had. He was in charge of basically everything from 2000 - 2008 and yet he managed to fly under the radar for most people. At the time everyone was speculating on who the real power behind the throne was and it was usually between Karl Rove, George Bush Sr. and Rumsfeld, but the whole time Cheney was more powerful than all of them put together. It's so hilarious that Cheney actually shot some guy in the face while duck-hunting and the guy he shot publicly apologized to Cheney for his face getting in the way of Cheney's shotgun. Now THAT'S power.
