It's funny this was the biggest thing in pop culture at one point and now it has the relevance of a CW show.
The quality of the show went down, the kids got too old, and the perfect magic of 80's nostalgia they somehow captured with the first season never returned.

Stranger things initially showed that perfectly.Season two was decent, you can tell it was kind of slapped dicked together quickly because they didn't expect the show to become as big as it did. Season three and onwards it lost the magic and that "small town" vibe that made it good in the first place, covid came and fucked the production, kids got old.It's still a nice comfort show to me, it kinda sucks now but it's the type of show I can just turn my brain off and watch.

Ironically the older teen characters became the only interesting part of the show (that being said I can't remember their names) but the older sister, the pretty boy, the older brother, the asshole older brother, uma thurman's daughter. The kids grew up and lost their charm.
