Why wouldn't he love his son?
>>
>>215699590
Why should he?
>>
>>215699657
He was a clever guy
>>
>>215699590
He was a freak and his wife died giving birth to him.
>>
but what was his tax policy?
>>
>>215699669
not really Tyrion's fault is it
>>
>>215699692
There are no taxes in the westerland, only gold mines

Ask 99% of /lgbt/ users why their fathers didn't love them.

he killed his wife. the only thing he really loved. and he brought shame on his house because men laughed at him being a dwarf.
>>
>>215699590
he became a bodyguard instead of leading armies like he was born to do.
>>
Tywin was embarrassed that men laughed at Tyrion, just like they laughed at his father Tytos
>>
>>215699590
Never gave him a worlds best dad mug.

I like the theory that book Tyrion is actually the Mad King's son. A World of Ice & Fire doesn't debunk that, it says that Joanna was in Kings' Landing with her family until Aerys II (who was already rumored to have fucked her before she got married) made some sexual comments about her that made him and Tywin falling out. She then went back to Casterly Rock and the next thing that happened was her dying from childbirth.

What law is there say he got to love him?

>I like the theory that book Tyrion is actually the Mad King's son.
it's a bad theory and ruins the symmetry in how Tyrion echoes his grandfather Tytos in many of his behaviors

He doesn't love any of his children, he only sees them as an extension himself, they're his "legacy", the closest he can get to remaining on this world after death. A drunk midget doing nothing but fuck whores makes for poor legacy, which he takes personally, he feels like his mere existence is an insult to his ego.

Is that the castle rock they talk about?
>>

>his grandfather Tytos
What do they have in common, aside from whoring and drinking? Tywin hated his father for being a carefree weak-willed simpleton who almost cost his house all of its prestige.

empty gold mines
