This is classic autistic guy behavior, but you're probably well aware.
Granted, I ended up integrating 'so it goes' as a default response in my lexicon after reading Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse-Five as a teenager. So I'm not bereft of guilt, either.

It can be done in subtle ways, like seamlessly blending it into a sentence, not mimicking the character, and not pointing out that it's a quote.
>QOTD
Well, while it's not a quote from a specific film, I use some mannerism of classic Hollywood. Such as starting a sentence with "Well," like how they talk in classic Hollywood pictures.
For specific quotes I use "Do you mind if I don't smoke?" from Groucho Marx and nothing else pops into my mind for the moment.

While I'm very against the objectification of women (especially of celebrated figures in feminist circles such as Ms. Akerman), I'd like to point out that she actually had a quite large and ravishing Ashkenazi bosom. And, as such, her stoutness is most welcome by me.

I'm tired of the stupid games, hidden agendas. I'm sick to death of it's giving/she served/she ate/she slayed. I'm sick of brown patronization. I'm gonna burn this world to the fucking ground.

it's over, maybe it's time to move on from clark gable.

Ok, did old hollywood really have better directing? I mean it looks so theatrical considering that most of the directors did theatre but there's also stiltedness in old hollywood acting(primarily but the directing also comes off as stilted) that seems a bit unnatural I must say.
I know I'll probably be crucified for this position. I think modern movies are more "realistic" with their directing even when stylized compared to old hollywood. Maybe the acting itself got better.
But old acting just looks fake, granted all of acting is just faking it but modern stuff kinda looks better even when talking about fakery. I'm not talking about marvel but general films made after the old hollywood i.e early sound cinema to 1950-ish.

Just finished "An average little man" (1977) and I must say I am disappointed.
I expected a typical italian comedy, why the fuck did it turn into The Punisher? I didn't want to see a super hero movie for fuck's sake.
