for me it's the fact that manga artists know how to actually illustrate and communicate a character's speed and strength. Meanwhile, any fight, or action sequence for that matter, is, in comics, a jilted awkward slideshow. In fact, most "action" panels in western comics are hardly that at all and are instead grotesque close-ups of traced and copied faces because of course expecting any of the "artists" in western superhero comics to do the bare minimum and actually DRAW is too much.
