The ending was one of the most dramatic sequences I've ever seen. 15 minutes of battle with no dialogue.

Wow, the teal armor matches the teal clouds. Kino.

He did a good job, also he wasn't the screenwriter, who judging by the 'Cast and Filmmakers Roundtable' was the man behind the entire project, and Jerry Bruckheimer was involved too.

The knights had different armor and helm, I assume Galahad was Italian or French and Mads' character was from Finland, in the last battle the king Saxon killed him and it was shot in such a way as to say without words that they had history, probably implying Saxons invaded his country.

Two other actors from GoT were in this in small roles, Clive Russell and Owen Teale.

I recall even as a 12-year-old thinking this movie kind of sucked ass.
>>
all i remember is they had to alter keira knightley's chest in promotional material to give her big tits. she's flat-chested throughout the movie

We don't mix with these people

I like Clive Owen generally but he sounded so bored and flat in the trailer and it all just looked so dreary

Don't listen to this bozo >>215993872. It's a flick but it has its moments. The setting is interesting with the twilight years of the roman empire, the foederati, the loss of the British Isles to the Saxons etc, even if it's not perfectly historically accurate, and it's got some pretty clumsy moments of ""depth"" but they're saved by that the actors actually appear pretty earnest about wanting to be there
>>
>>215993872
I'm sure you're still a 12 year old today
>>
All I remember is Saxons with crossbows and some kind of battle on ice, so story probably wasn't very good
>>
>>215989005
The armor was anachoristic. It's like making a show about the GWOT but the actors are wearing Napoleonic era uniforms.
>>
>>215998708
Could you elaborate? What should have been the correct time period armor?

I really like this flick but I do recognize that it has its glaring flaws. All white cast is always a plus in my book regardless the subversion of roman or even Briton lore. It's just a breath of fresh air in the year of our Lord 20XX.

Lmfao, that movie fucking sucked
>does Arthur get cucked in this one too?
>pic related was the only King Arthur movie I enjoyed cuz it's the only one where he doesn't get cucked.
It's because they're following Thomas Malory's Le Morte d'Arthur, which is the most well known and unified version of King Arthur's story, and he gets cucked by Lancelot in that one. Blame the guy who wrote it 500 years ago.

eh, there are so many things hidden or enhanced by makeup and clothes already, this is nothing to an actor.
>>
>>216009743
I remember reading a comic book about King Arthur stuff back in the early 2000s where he sleeps with his mother (or sister, cant recall) for some reason, is this based in some old version or just the authors incest fetish?

The farthest right is what they would have most likely looked like by the 5th century, at least of the Comitatenses field army, as opposed to a member of the Limitanei border army. Roman legions were divided between border and field roles, after the military reforms of Diocletian through Constantine changed the Roman Army's structure to be more efficiently updated for the times.
