No thanks. Anyone who really read the original source dislikes this mediocrity. Sure it's not THAT bad for a live-action adaptation of a manga, but is just painfully average in comparison.

>>215997984I wouldn't call it great. It nearly jumps the shark so many times with the penis monster, cyber karate idiots and cat ear / tail Alita. When a fucking VAMPIRE turned up I was ready to bin it. Yet the vampire was actually genius because the vampire's backstory turned out to be Alita's world's backstory. It is nowhere near as good as the original manga serial with the rushed ending but at the same time it is pure, patience-testing kino. And it's better than Ghost in the Shell.
