Stuckmann never said you're not supposed to critique movies or his movie. He stopped doing negative reviews as a tactical thing so that he doesn't piss off some industry assholes, and it paid off as he ended up getting Shelby Oaks released proper.
Queer and Faggot on RLM did not critique the movie as they didn't see it. They seethed about the marketing campaign and the title of the movie.
Stuckmann asked people to see his movie cause that's what you do during a marketing campaign. And "supporting an original movie" makes sense as a point because right now studios are obsessed with franchises and adaptations, and appealing to people's desire to see more original content could make people want to see a movie. You can't really just say "watch my movie it's good!" cause good is subjective plus no one can definitively know if the movie is good or not before watching it.

Oz Perkins isn't cool. Longlegs was total ass. The tone is of a kind of slow paced detective type movie which should unravel gradually, but the pacing is way too fast, and Nic Cage was really awful, and not like his usual entertaining awful, he was less creepy and more fucking annoying and tryhard. The storyline is incredibly generic which would have been fine if the movie was creepy and atmospheric but again, the contradiction of supposed tone and pacing doesn't let the vibe settle. Thw Blackcoat's Daughters was actually good, and it was appropriately slow. His second film with the long title is even slower but it's not rewarding. Then he fell off completely into meme shit.
