Watched this with my dad while visiting. I'd never heard of it since I would never pay for Apple TV and avoid commercials. It was pretty damn good, way past my expectations. I highly recommend. Any of you faggots see it?
Starts off good and devolves into relationship drama about who's sleeping with who and not about trying to couch a dysfunctional soccer team
>>216002849Season 1 is all about a person who kills with kindness. Which might be gay and lame depending on how you feel. Then like >>216003134 says they quickly run out of interesting stories to tell about a person who just does that and it becomes pretty uninteresting unless you love poorly written drama.
>>216003172>>216003134There's only one relationship triangle and it's a b story in the background. It was completely uninteresting but I thought they did a good job of keeping the A story going throughout it. Also it doesn't last that long, season 2 was a bit of a lul, but they picked it back up in the third season. 3rd season was worth watching season two with the last half of it being peak.
Pretty sad they only had one episode dedicated to the best character on the show. That one was worth the build up to his story, but I would have liked to see more.
>>216003134>Couch
>>216003244Yeah I checked and season 2 episode 4 was when I dropped it, maybe I'll give it another chance
>>216003540If it comes down to it I'd recommend watching the last 2 episodes of season 2 just so you can move on to season 3. Promise 3 is worth it, especially the stuff they do with Nathan.
>>216003619>>216003540Also I don't want to spoil anything but Trent Crim (The Independent) gets a closer role and it gets pretty interesting.
>>216003619>>216003653Thanks, I'll give it another shot since I liked season 1
>>216002849Good first seasons, shitty final season.
>>216003846Retard
>>216002849Besides watching this, what do you and your father usually do together, as like a typical father/daughter day?
>>216004214Fishing and hunting are the only interests we have in common. I hate most of the TV and movies he watches and he hates most of mine. We are polar opposites and he's generally a major ass hole in most ways. This show was the only media we mutually liked.
is this show funny?
>>216004463most of it does a good job of mixing American and British humor, with some episodes being more of one or the other. First season is the best of the humor with second season being hit and miss, and 3rd season doing better as a mostly serious show with humor elements.
>>216004509so it's like Arrested Development in reverse
>>216004542No because the first 2 seasons of Arrested Development were the only remotely good seasons and everything after them is completely devoid of humor or good story telling entirely. Even then, the first 2 seasons were only kinda good.
This show is anti-4chan, too optimistic and wholesome to have a real discussion here
