The director should’ve been clever and changed the setting, who the fuck rides trains anymore. Don’t know how they’re going to do the last scene in these hyper-woke days. In the ‘60s movie he’s not particularly “well-to-do” he’s more respectable middle class. She’s more kitten-ish, sort of Carroll Baker in Baby Face meets Ann-Margret in Kitten With a Whip. Still, probably watch this remake for curiosity’s sake.
