Bros, this show hits hard. The last things that resonated with me like this were Borges' books and Zorba.I feel for Don/Dick. I see where he's coming from, and I see what the creator of the show is trying to say, but I don't think I can be like this. I don't think I can move on and be happy with helping people.Don got the perfect life, but it's still not enough. I fear if I ever turned into what I wanted to be and got everything I ever wanted to have, it would still not be enough and I wouldn't be happy because I'm too bitter/resentful about the things I had to deal with.
