there is a severe lack of high fantasy films, LotR is good and all but its fantasy is either mild or extreme with little inbetween, you have things like hobbits which are incredibly grounded with nothing really special beyond the rings and then you have elves which live forever and battle the most powerful dark lords as if they're demigods
