Which Bond was best and which was the worst?
>>216015580First 3 awesome. Last 3 sucked.
Pierce+drugs > other sober > Craig
>>216015641true if you don't count lazenby
>>216015580Best Bond is obviously Connery who literally changed the character in the books and who every other actor tries to replicateThe others are all fine, I like Dalton and MooreCraig is not Bond and he won't ever be Bond
>>216015712>Craig is not Bond and he won't ever be Bondagreed
Craig is good
Dalton > Craig > who cares
>>216015804No he isn'tIt isn't the height like OP's picrel implies, the issue is Craig has zero charisma, zero debonair, zero qualities that scream BondYou could put his "Bond" in any other action film and he would fit inHe doesn't even get the chicks, I mean his last film is literally full of a black woman telling him how to do everything
>>216015894he should be one of Q's staff being humiliated and not bond
>>216015580Best: Timothy DaltonWorst: Roger Moore
>>216015580Could you imagine this cunt being Bond
>>216015580Brosnan was the best imo. He is the perfect example visually and his tone of what bond is to me. His comedic sarcasm, innuendo and suave delivery was top notch.Roger moore sounded like a smarmy post cunt, connery was great but like a cocky guy, dalton was less noticeable, bland, lazenby was just like a boring person and craig was a poor cast all together, he doesnt even act, let alone look like bond.
>>216015580>Pussy Galore: "I'm a lesbian, I hate men.">Bond: "We'll see about that.">*slaps her around and gives her a good non-consensual dicking in the hay*>Pussy Galore: "Thank you James, you've cured my gayness."This was very problematic.
>>216015580It makes more sense that a spy would be of average to low height to blend better with the crowds and such.
>>216016000how about this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5V15wNflslc
>>216016095it is how it actually works
Cubby Broccoli wanted Timothy Dalton when Connery left, but Dalton said he was too youngBroccoli asked again before Roger Moore, but Dalton turned it down againBroccoli wanted Brosnan to replace Moore, but Remington Steele was renewed. Broccoli ask Dalton again and he accepted
>>216016219He might had done a decent job to be fair
>>216015580ConneryBrosnanCraig (first three films)LazenbyDaltonMooreCraig (last two films)
>Best Sean>WorstDaltonSean > Craig > Moore > Brosnan > Dalton
I'm tempted to say Brosnan, but he honestly only have one good movie (Goldeneye) and the associated N64 game was a big part of my childhood, so whenever I think of "James Bond" I immediately think about Brosnan

Connery and DaltonBrosnan could have been awesome, sadly the only good Bond movie he played in was Goldeneye and the rest was shit. He could have been awesome but he was not helped by the material.
>>216016098No because he has to see long distances
1. Connery>Started it all, the classic. Had the most genuinely good films of any Bond actor. Did kinda sleepwalk through YOLT and DAF, but it's hard to blame him there.2. Dalton>Made the character his own, much more brooding and dark than Connery. Only two films, but both are solid entries.3. Brosnan>A good blend of the others, with Brosnan's dashing good looks and a bit of a tender side toward women that gave him some depth. I like the idea of a Bond whose charm is a mask for his darker side, but unfortunately he was hamstrung by a having only one real knockout movie (Goldeneye).4. Moore.>A lighter and campier Bond, but he did have a lot of really great moments like kicking the car off the cliff in FYEO or confronting Orlov in Octopussy. His run of films was pretty up-and-down, with good ones like TSWLM and FYEO and stinkers like AVTAK.5. Lazenby>Great fight scenes! Only one movie, but at least it was a good one. Had a nice tender side in the romantic scenes, but was hamstrung by being dubbed for a good chunk of the movie. What could've been, I wonder?6. Craig.>The fastest fall from grace I've ever seen. Casino Royale starts us off nicely with a good modernized Bond adventure, but things quickly go downhill from there with a string of dismal, murky sequels. Craig himself starts off alright as a sort of impulsive meathead newbie Bond in CR, but then quickly becomes a grumpy diet-Dalton and sleepwalks through every movie.
>>216016598No, not really.
>>216015580No way timothy dalton was that tall kek.>>216016771A view to a kill was a good movie and I am willing to die on this hill.
>>216016771Spot on
>>216016909AVTAK sucked dick. Tanya Roberts was annoying and Walken was barely in it. The only good action scene is the Golden Gate Bridge fight. It's the one thing a Bond film shouldn't be -- boring.
>6'2 is 188cm>6'1 1/2 is 187cm>?? is 186cm>6'1 is 185cmThis shit is so retarded
I like Connery, Dalton and CraigI don't like Moore, Niven and LazenbyBrosnan is fine
Austin Powers. He was basically all of them in 1.
>>216015580ConneryLazenby
>>216015580>I am taller than every Bond everNo, YOU make the martini Mr. Bond, and I want it stirred you limey cocksucker.
>>216015804I enjoy Craig as well but they're no longer Bond movies with him, although most of that isn't his decision obviously.
>>216016771Sounds about right
I don't remember the exact details, but iirc from an interview some anon posted in another bond thread, Craig didn't even want the role initially and had to be convinced to audition.
>>216015712>>216015783It's funny how... what? 8 years ago? 9? People were cumimng how awesome Craig is.
>>216016771I like Brosnan the best but you accurately described what made him my favourite Bond, although to be fair I'm one of the nitwits that loves Die Another Day.
>>216016771Brosnan = Moore (the good ones) > Connery = Dalton > Lazenby > Craig = Moore (the bad ones)I like my Bonds campy, thank you very much. If I wanted to watch a serious, brooding movie, I would go watch Bourne movies. Was true in the 80s (Dalton vs. the Bourne mini-series) and was true in modern times (Craig era started as Bourne rip-off, which was just pathetic)
>>216019859People bitch about him sleep-walking through those movies, but he originally wanted to make just two of them, and then his contract was constantly re-negotiated. The end result is Moore-like boredom with the role and doing his very best to play in other titles.
>>216019867People still do, outside this incel bubble.
>>216019943I tend to feel like people gravitated toward the darker Bonds because the campier ones hadn't had as good a track record as the more down-to-Earth ones like FRWL, FYEO, and Licence to Kill. Then Craig tanked the track record of the darker Bonds and so now it's about even.Admittedly, what makes a Bond film "dark" or "campy" is pretty muddled. Goldeneye for example has some pretty dark and heavy scenes involving Bond and his purpose in the world, but also a femme fatale named Xenia Onatopp. TLD has some spectacular over-the-top action scenes like the Cargo Net Fight, but also has Bond sticking a gun in John Rhys-Davis' ear while seriously contemplating killing him.
>>216015580Are we counting the female-presenting they/them of color who will have the role next?
>>216016909you will not die on that hillyou will conquer the world when you're on the side of AVTAK, a top five Bond movie
>>216022367>AVTAK, a top five Bond movieAVTAK is boring as shit. People just like the mine massacre and the Golden Gate Bridge fight.
