Yang is just wrong; or rather, everything he says is him coping about the fact that overthrowing the awful government would be objectively the correct decision to make to save the FPA multiple times, and justifying his decision not to seize power which may have actually saved it from destruction, when the real reason he didn't do that was that he didn't want to. He simply didn't want that power and authority and the responsibility that would come with it, because he was unambitious and lazy. It's not like he actually had any kind of principles about obeying the government no matter what, or he'd have just let them imprison and/or kill him the several times they tried to do that, like what happened to Socrates.

The issue I have is that the show takes itself way too seriously but it doesn't have enough knowledge about history, political science or military philosophy to back it up. It tries so hard to be profound but it only ends up feeling like your autistic grand strategy playing nephew at thanks giving giving dunning kruger speeches about how Nazi Germany was actually really powerful and about to win WW2 and how Hitler was an economics mastermind.It's just so tiresome. Especially when people that clearly don't know any better fall for it hook line and sinker here on 4chan.Thank FUCK I was well read enough in these topics before the weird modern "internet reactionary" trend. I could see a less experiences less educated younger version of me being misled by this show and it retarding my worldview.
