What're your favourite films about an impending/imminent nuclear apocalypse?I love any film or show that portrays the tension/confusion in a "realistic" way where government jobbers are suddenly sweating over having to run through the procedures for real. Threads was good for that, I liked House of Dynamite's 1st half because of it too.Not so much interested in movies about the aftermath/post apocalypse, but rather the run-up to and moment of impact and how people react.
>>216016890I know the perfect film for that specific feeling. I saw it for the first time last year and I've literally never seen it mentioned anywhere online before outside of an IMDB list of good 60s films. It's called Fail Safe and you are all welcome. I don't even wanna give the plot synopsis, but it's an entire film of sweat and dread.
