The movie presents itself as a mystery but one that impossible to solve because how we're you supposed to deduce that the main character is actually a never before mentioned twin who was invited to a party by her murderer after a very public legal battle. And of course the movie lying to you by showing flashbacks of things that happened differently the first time.

Like, literally the entire case was solved by Craig character, the genius homo, telling the audience that Norton was a shallow idiot cis billionaire who always used weird words. You can sense that that part was already there since the writing phase.
