High Flying Birds > Oasis
>>216019447BIBLICAL >>216019602lmao no
I need to sneed myself
>>216019602Liam's solo stuff is better
>>216019602>YOUR SHITPOSTS REMIND ME OF DIGSY'S
>>216019447Andy Bell is the proper talent in Oasis.
>beatles but boomer hard rockBri'sh moment
>>216019447Whats the obsession with these guys? There's dozens of other British musicians that would spring to mind before them. For a couple of guys who claim to love the Beatles so much they sure seem like angry people in interviews.
>>216020647They were one of the biggest bands in the world around 1996.You'll see people say "Blur was better" or some other band. But none of those bands had the success of songs like Wonderwall, Don't Look Back and Champagne Supernova.
>>216020775Never cared for Oasis or Blur.Picrel was a UK band from that era I liked. Heard them for the first time on the soundtrack for The Chumscrubber (good movie btw).
Not having to hear these guys on the radio 25/8 was the upside to the 90s ending. Wall to wall grunge singers whining was demoralizing too. They have some earworms, but shoved so far down they came out the other end
>>216021127Placebo? The guys that did "Pure Morning?" I hate that song, but bands can be cursed with a terrible song that is also their most well-known. Like Warrant and "Cherry Pie." The singer said he could shoot himself in the head for writing that song.>ChumscrubberWhat an odd title.
>>216021127A FRIEND OF SNEED'S A FRIEND INDEED
>>216020647They were the last hurrah of the working class white British music scene, after them no one has really come close to their level of international popularity. There was a time when a couple brothers from a shithole city dominated the airways and it makes people feel nostalgia even though they ultimately weren't that good.
>>216021127Carrie-Anne Moss is an absolute mature fox in this. Unfortunately, the film is one of the many mediocre dramas about suburbs that popped up after American Pie
>>216021338>singer said he could shoot himself in the head for writing that songI remember the interviews with that guy being shown on VH1. There was clearly something else going on with him but he (and VH1) made it seem like his life was somehow ruined by that song (which it wasnt)>>216021413>one of the many mediocre dramas about suburbseh, I liked it, but then again I didnt watch a bunch of other 'dramas about suburbs' so there wasnt anything about it that was stale to me. I thought it was a good story of the consequences of self-absorbed parents told through the eyes of their ignored teenage children.
>>216021665>There was clearly something else going on with himIt's rumored he's one of the men raped by Rob Halford.
>>216021696>raped by Rob HalfordFirst time Ive heard of this>one of the menHe did this multiple times?
>>216021749>Jani Lane's wife Bobby Brown claimed in her 2013 autobiography and subsequent interviews that Lane confided in her that he was once drugged and raped by a member of a famous heavy metal band and their manager early in his career.>Brown has not publicly named the perpetrator, but the timeline of events and tours led to unconfirmed speculation in online forums and social media that the individuals involved were from the Judas Priest camp, including Rob Halford and his former manager, John Baxter. That's just a quick search. The story was told to me in detail by a buddy who's a huge Judas Priest fan.But like I said, it's just rumors. Lane died in 2011.
