The first fast and furious is actually a solid movie. Tokyo drift is so funny and bad that it loops round to being kinda good again.

That movie made the prices of the most basic Hondas and Acuras skyrocket over night, and launched a huge economic sector of niche manufacturers making performance parts and accessories for vehicles that were built for frugality and mpgs. FF singlehandedly made cars popular again among a segment of the population that was previously boxed out by boomers and gen-xers and their hoarding of muscle cars and classics.
