Why doesn't this series get the level of shit that Transformers does for dumbing down the culture?

because familia

it's all about la familia bro
why don't you chill, have any beer you want
as long as it's corona
>>

because the transformers movies also shat all over an established franchise that many people loved.

Because non-whites and third worlders like it.

The first fast and furious is actually a solid movie. Tokyo drift is so funny and bad that it loops round to being kinda good again.

The first one literally started a massive social phenomenon by mainstreaming tuner culture.
That movie made the prices of the most basic Hondas and Acuras skyrocket over night, and launched a huge economic sector of niche manufacturers making performance parts and accessories for vehicles that were built for frugality and mpgs. FF singlehandedly made cars popular again among a segment of the population that was previously boxed out by boomers and gen-xers and their hoarding of muscle cars and classics.

you're literally just describing disney plus.

It did. everyone who gave it shit has basically forgotten they ever existed. The people who watched them as children are now defending them on 4chan
